A year ago Yoga didn’t mean much to me- back then it was a strange “boring” practice reserved for the barefoot hippies and elderly. Body Pump and calorie-busting classes were more my thing.
But then I had my first Hot Yoga class and everything changed. Before I knew it I signed up for Vinyasa, Yin Yang and even Nia Yoga. I’m not going to pretend like I’m really good at it, I’m not there yet. But I will say this- I totally underestimated it. And I don’t just mean it from a wellness perspective, I mean it gave me a new core strength, it improved my terrible posture and it helped me find my balance and focus better. It also gave me a kick-ass workout, and yes I underestimated that one too. While everyone was planking and pulling gravity defying poses there I was struggling to grab my feet with both hands.
Now I’m officially hooked. So on the long Easter weekend I decided to pack up my yoga mat and have an outdoor yoga session in the Jabal. And I’m always on the lookout for a cotton pair of pants or a comfortable colorful outfit that can add vibrancy to my Yoga sessions and put me in the mood.
Here I’m wearing brand new Spring 2015 Adidas Originals Hawaii Tee shirt and Leggings available in stores very soon!
