An Essie Affair

A friend asked me why I’m so obsessed with Essie. For starters, the choices are endless, over 900 to be more precise! And I just love the way they’re always introducing new shades every season single season. I’ve tried countless nail polish brands and I can safely say that Essie is the longest lasting one I have come across to date. So couple that with some of the season’s hottest shades and you’ve got yourself a winning combo.

I’d also be lying if I didn’t admit how much I love the witty and fun names they give each bottle, names that stick with you. I recently came across an interview with Essie Cosmetic’s founder Essie Weingarten did with ELLE where she goes into the very dynamic process of how they come up with those names.
