I haven’t kept my contempt towards over sized tattooed eyebrows a secret, but that doesn’t mean I’m not for a bigger bolder brow.

I’ve tested several Eyebrow pencils and though I’ve tried hard to get a soft color release I usually end up with precise sharp lines that just don’t blend-in nicely with the rest of my brows-because I’m lazy and unless I spend a good amount of time concentrating, filling in sparse gaps and brushing, it’s just not gonna happen for me.

And don’t get me started on powder-based eyebrow/eyeshadow products, color pay-off is way too harsh and unnatural in my opinion like a marker that gets grainy and cakey after hours. So I was excited when I discovered this creamy textured brow product last fall and have been hooked ever since.

Benefit’s Gimme Brow is an industry favorite having won the Allure Best of Beauty Award. I know MAC and Makeup Forever have translucent eyebrow gels that help keep brows in place but this one is a little different, I like to think of it as a mascara but for your brows!

All you have to do is swipe the bristle brush across your brows in the direction of hair growth et voila, thicker, fuller brows, the lightweight texture will stay put all day if needed. Did I mention its waterproof too? Coverage is buildable so I would suggest one light stroke for day makeup but you can easily add a round for an evening out on the town. The best part is it doesn’t feel sticky or crusty when it dries out, something I cannot stand in other products.

But make no mistake, although Benefit does mention the precision tip for shaping, I would recommend Gimme Brow as voluminous eyebrow filler as it’s pretty difficult to shape without getting formula all over your brow bone. So there’s no reason why you can’t use after your favorite eyebrow pencil to fill out empty or uneven areas.

 

Gimme Brow comes in two shades, light/medium and medium/deep. Though I like to keep my eyebrows natural the light/medium shade was actually way too light for me so I went with the medium deep.

I totally recommend Benefit Gimme Brow available at Sephora stores worldwide. This brand is not available in Lebanon but your best bet would be Dubai and it retails for $33.
