Here’s another reason as to why the West always refers to Lebanese girls as “hot” or why we’re known for both our chic peas and exotic looks. Our own Rima Fakih the 24 year-old Lebanese -American was crowned with the Miss USA title yesterday.
Her trick question: whether she thought birth control should be paid for by health insurance, and she said she believed it should because it’s costly. “I believe that birth control is just like every other medication even though it’s a controlled substance.”
I wonder if she has any family in Lebanon watching her on TV and if so whether or not her khalto would cringe at that answer. I know mine would 😉 Birth control!!! Ya 3aybishoooooommm
So what do you guys think? Is Rima worthy of the title? This sparked a huge debate with my girls and I. Some find her super-pretty but I’m on the fence about her. I see prettier girls at Sky Bar. I mean anyone who say’s she ain’t pretty is lying but I’m not sure she’s all that. She is a very typical Lebanese beauty,nothing too out of the ordinary, but I may be wrong. What do you think? Bisoux

Honestly I think you are a hater. Why can’t our fellow Lebanese people just be happy for her? I think she is beautiful, smart, and she represents our community here in the states. A lot of people find women from older generations prettier and classier in a jaded kind of way. i.e. Marilyn Monroe’s beauty was and will always be a classical one, and I find her prettier than Cameron Diaz for instance. Not that Cameron Diaz is not pretty… but you got my point… don’t you?

Rima Fakih is pretty, well more sexy than pretty, and for those who think it’s the same, well there’s a difference. Georgina Rizk is definitely prettier, I cannot even compare, she is a real beauty. Rima looks more like Kim Kardashian and I personally do not find this type of “beauty” particularly appealing, again they are “sexy”…period. There are many girls in Lebanon who are way prettier, classier, smarter, they just don’t participate in beauty pageants. Ivy is not a hater Donna and I totally respect her opinion, if you read her text carefully and attend to the semantics of it, she is proud of Rima and we all are. She just may not be the type of beauty that we relate to. Peace y’all.
Is it just me, or does Rima look different in every single picture? In some photos she is an absolute bomb shell, and in others..well I hardly recognize her as the same person..
Anyway, at the end of the day..it is a beauty pageant..all Lebanese women are beautiful..full stop..just “how” beautiful is a matter of personal preference..that’s all!
As a guy I must say that girl is fine. Girls are also getting more attractive with time. Pretty soon we will have a super race of gorgeous women! YEAH!

Opps I actually read Georgina was half Hungarian. Either way, her and Rima have a totally different look. One is dark, the other with light eyes and lighter hair. It is a personal preference.
