I’ve been trying my best to avoid posting about the heinous fashion choices I’ve been seeing some local television anchors and presenters make, mostly because it would probably take up most of my time. But there’s just one presenter in particular that has been adamant on breaking every fashion rule in the book and I’m not sure my eyes can take it anymore. Worse yet, the mere thought of young girls following in her fashion footsteps brings chills down my spine.
Her name is Josiane El Zir and she’s LBCI’s newest presenter on a show called Shakhsiye aw Ghenniye (personality or song) a show that reminded me of Maya Diab’s previous Hek Menghaneh on MTV with the whole singing and dancing. ( oh Maya, how much I’ve come to appreciate you now.)
Josiane seems like your average sweet-girl-next -door but someone HAS to break it to her, someone needs to put an end to the crimes she’s been committing against fashion. This is not your average case of fashionista or fashion victim, girl has gone rogue.

Esin says
She looks like a Christmas tree in the first one. Tis the season!
Ivy says
Hahaha spot on!
Sareen says
Did you notice she always takes her photos from her left?
Sarine (@sarine_b) says
Must be her “good side”
Ivy says
Yes now that you point it out- I wonder what she’s hiding on the other side hmmmmm
Elle Aime says
I don’t know her but I think she is a refreshing change from all the whores you usually see on Lebanese television. She’s quirky and I think it works. To each their own.
A Voice from NY says
unfortunately, I don’t have access to LBCI, so I can’t comment based off the show, but t from he photos shown here, I have to agree with Elle . . . I think her look seems more on the quirky side which is (IMO) a hell of a load better than the cheap tramp look I’ve seen so often.
Ivy says
Agreed ladies there are many presenters out there that put way too much emphasis on being excessively sexy and I support individuality and love quirky but I still have strong feelings against her fashion faux pas-es.Strong strong feelings ;p

Its also the hair that’s affecting her ,but seriously Ivyy u should women on the streets but also dont really blame them ,its the lack of budget and that everything’s becoming expensive and don’t know where to shop ,but really its’ not an excuse anyway ….

c’mon Ivy – any publicity is good publicity – nice to see you doing your part.
before today, I never knew of Josiane El Zir!
Haya says
There is nothing wrong in expressing our individuality. As long she is comfortable with herself , this is what matters. So what! her first outfit is outrageously “different”. why should she conform to what is considered fashionable by any one’s mean. At least she has a style and this is something lacking nowadays. Come to AUB and pass by Main Gate you can’t differentiate the girls. Spread positiveness and Love 🙂
