I get that they’re both movies about Pirates but the first thing that popped in my head while I was looking at the promotional poster for Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides, was the promotional poster for Hook which I think I watched as a kid back in 1991. The resemblance is striking if you focus for a minute.
Inspired, recycled, or coincidence , I would definitely recommend you go see it it in 3D, the last two Pirates disappointed me but this one relies less on the visuals and more on the characters and sub-plots including the scenes with the amazing seductress Mermaids. Bisoux
