We all have that one friend in that sort of relationship- she wants to take it to the next step he doesn’t. They’ve been together for years,of course he won’t just leave her , he simply doesn’t have the balls to because the fact is he DOES like her but he also likes himself more and dealing with the consequences of a break up or living in the fear that one day he may realize he did a big mistake- is just too risky for him.

So what does he do? He drags it on. He doesn’t promise her anything- but he does throw her some false hope every now and then and she’s more than willing to take it and run with it.

I dunno if it’s the masochist inside her or the optimist, but she just won’t leave him, she will threaten to leave him, a lot, but he knows she’s bluffing- she’s done it way too many times and she always comes back to him, unconditionally. She figures, well he’s been with me for years- it’s a good sign.

The Bar

I decided to try something new this weekend and hit up Jounieh instead- apparently the bar scene has been happening there for awhile there, walked through the old souk and found this crowded spot called Lush- great music and good crowd. Bisoux
