My childhood  is coming to life. I’m practically counting the days down for Alice In Wonderland and now I get this amazing news. Remember the villain in Sleeping Beauty well her name is Maleficent and you may remember her from her pic, anyways all that’s being reported so far is that the story will be from HER point of view. interesting. Sly Yet Genuis Dating Tips

Tip# 3:  Drop a Hint

I met a guy I’ve been crushing on for a while at Zinc last night. ( NO thank god he didn’t see me in the boy’s loo.)  He’s a friend of a friend that I randomly  run into like once a month.  For some reason I’ve always felt kinda intimidated by this guy cause he just doesn’t give me the time of the day.

Soooo…  I heard him saying something about this play in  Masrah AlMadina called Vitrine. I knew this was my opportunity so I look at him and go “ I’ve been dying to watch that play!” ( between me and you I haven’t heard of the thing before last night)  So he goes “really? I have an extra ticket my mom’s friend is running the show.” And there you have it folks, I just hinted my way through to a date. Will keep you posted on this one. Bisoux

6 Girls to Every Man In Lebanon, Yeah Right!

Are there really 6 women to every man in Lebanon? If this is true shouldn’t we be jumping on the next man that comes our way? Who came up with this number and why would they make this information public, don’t they know that this would cause bloodshed amongst women or something less dramatic perhaps, polygamy would be a necessity. Lebanese women don’t deserve these statistics, we are smart, strong, modern, capable intelligent beautiful creatures that deserve to pick men from a crowd, not settle with less than OK because there just aren’t enough men!!! And if this is true aren’t you men just having a blast, especially the womanizers amongst you that can’t just have ONE woman, but need a bunch at a time and don’t even get me started on what a guy would do if he found out that the girl he was seeing was or used to be a serial dater!!!Horror!!

Professionals By Day.Gemmayzers By Night.

Here are some snapshots of last night.  I met up with some of my girls right after work for what was supposed to be coffee at Torino’s. Of course coffee became a drink and a drink became a shot and  before we knew it we were having a full blown girls night out! Bisoux

Margarita - if I remember correctly

The bartender tried explaining this to us a number of times, it has a cherry in it and tastes like apple with vanilla!! mmm

Packed even on a Wed night!!

No sahra is complete without munchies. What a character this guy was!

The Aftermath

The girls were making way too much noise on the way back. I turn to find that they've all prepared thier keys , but we weren't even close to home yet!!!

Chanty’s Bloggers FACE-OFF Rocks!

Good for you Chanty, shedding the light on Lebanese Bloggers  in this creative way. Chanty poses 15 questions and presents the  answers in a matrix. The first with a blogger I relate to so  much, Maya Zankoul from Maya’s Amlagam and Youssef Alam from Jobox. Thanks for the advice guys and  here are some highlights:

Has it been worth it so far?

Youssef: For me. Yes! I like to speak my mind

Maya: Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. This blog is the best thing that happened to me. It changed my life. It gave me an inner peace that I was failing to achieve ever since I moved to Lebanon 5 years ago. It has been a way of dealing with all the problems around me in a positive and constructive way.

Does That Make Me Easy?

We are known for our “open-mindedness” in Lebanon. But what exactly does that mean? If your referring to the parties, they’re just as wild right now in Dubai and if it’s through the way we dress, you can go to any classy night club in the Middle East and spot some mini-skirts. We need to take it a step further, and by that I mean our conventional guy/girl attitudes. Why is it we always hear” he asked me out on a date” why can’t it be “I asked him out”?

Would that make me desperate or maybe even (god Forbid)… EASY? Because I am far from easy but what I am is outgoing. I see many guys checking me out all the time, but only about 10% of them approach me… maybe he just doesn’t think he stands a chance.  Especially with the attitude us girls have around here and I’m not going to pretend I don’t have it too… sometimes ;)

Anyways I’ve been thinking, why wait for a guy to make a move or  to give you flowers and whomever said flowers are only for girls? Yes they’re pretty, I know a lot of pretty boys and they smell nice, ( many floral male perfumes out there) so why can’t I give a guy flowers? Who made these rules anyway??? Bisoux
